Custom Cups Made Us Bigger

Summer last year was the quite eventful for our family business. We had a chance to make our farm products big during the county fair with the custom promotional cups that my grandkids made for me. It was by accident, but those things really changed a lot.

I saw the calendar and told my husband that the fair is coming. He said that we should go and try to sell some chickens and pigs to get some money into the farm. Sales have been quite dismal back then, because we mainly relied on what our neighbors and friends bought us. That same week, my grandkids went over to spend their summer.

While I was preparing dinner one evening, I noticed one of the kids painting something on the drinkwares. I got so mad with what he did and made him know it. The dastardly child continued with it the next morning with painting more on those spare cups that we had. And then something struck me. I asked all of them to gather around and make me some custom logo promotional cups for the upcoming fair.

All of them were up to it, and I suddenly forgot how mad I felt the previous night. All the giveaways they made had our farm name on them, and images of the animals that we had. Most of the pictures were funny, while some were just stick figures pretending to be animals.

The state fair came. To my surprise, all the custom promotional cups products that the kids made were bought all bought in a matter of minutes! They were even sold out faster than our products!

From then on, business started to pick up. Eggs, cows, chickens, and pigs are the most common orders. This coming summer, I plan to invite the kids again and make the same magic they gave me last year. In return, I’ll give them gifts; big ones.
